Watching movies is one of the most popular activities for young people, couples and families on weekends. So where can we find the cheapest movie tickets in Singapore? Let’s analyse for you (note that students and senior citizens have been excluded from this analysis). Note that all prices quoted are in SGD and are correct as of 15/11/12. (p.s. credit card promotions are subject to change, and you should confirm with the counter staff at time of purchase)

As you can see, the cheapest ticket on weekday would be in Shaw – using Maybank VISA Platinum 1-for-1 i.e. $8.50-$9.50 for a pair of ticket (but terms and conditions apply). Otherwise it would be $7 in all the 4 cinemas. On weekends, there’re 1-for-1 promotion in Cathay and Shaw and the cheapest would be $7.50 using the HSBC movie card in Golden Village. The cheapest 3D movies would be from Golden Village using the ANZ card (25% off on all days!)

You have indicated that the NTUC card can be used for the tickets from Shaw. You did not indicate which NTUC card can be used. How about NTUC Plus Link?
